It took me under 10 min to assemble this and I was out testing it in my yard. It can detect objects a few feet into the ground and my son and his friends have had fun taking their turn with it. They found $2, an old scissor, and bottle caps in an hour. Pretty fun to use and very lightweight.

My husband gets a kick taking this to our beach trips or just going around the yard trying to find things he’d lost. He assembled it quickly and it is able to detect metal a few feet into the ground. It’s a great metal detector to start with!

Light weight and easy to set up, good durable construction. Learned quickly how to detect metal items once it beeps. As with anything, doing some thing repeatedly I will memorize what the pointer on the meter means, and I won't need to carry the manual around. Hopefully will find something expensive :) here's hoping...
