We have always had big demand for Churchwarden pipes with the long mouthpiece as featured in the movie "The Lord of the Rings" and now they are here and immediately available as part of the quality briar pipe range from Falcon and Merton of the UK.

Just arrived into stock here in Auckland is a range of 80 new Peterson pipes, never seen here before but selections from right across the entire range of their exclusive briar pipes.
But you must move quickly as the importer only bought in 1 of each from their stock in their Head Office in Australia.

From 1st July 2019, NZ Couriers will charge an additional fee for deliveries to your home rather than to your work address.
This is called a Residential Delivery fee and to find out if it applies to you you will need to search their website www.nzcouriers.co.nz and key in your delivery address to the address checker under the menu item "Tools".
This will tell you if your address can be delivered to as part of a Business Delivery zone or will require the purchase of an extra ticket (a Residential Delivery ticket) for attachment to your parcel to have a special Residential Delivery subcontractor deliver it to you.

Included in the changes to the laws regarding the importation, wholesaling and retailing of tobacco items are new laws specific to the retailing of cigars and pipe tobacco.
Basically we have been advised by some importers and wholesalers that mini-cigars (cigarillos) can now only be imported, wholesaled and retailed in packs of not less than 20 sticks - this relates specifically to cigars that are about the size of a cigarette.
Packaging must be plain with no attempt at promotion on the packaging. This means that the brand and the type are virtually indistinguishable from any other brand and type for tobacco items of the same size.
This applies to all cigars and to all pipe tobaccos that are still being manufactured overseas for NZ or are being specifically repackaged overseas or locally for NZ requirements.

Erinmore Mixture and Flake are now available again along with Borkum Riff Cavendish Cherry as the only survivor of that range.
Unfortunately, the importer of the top-shelf range of Peterson, Ashton, Comoys and Savinelli pipe tobaccos has decided to discontinue with any tobacco importing, so these are no longer available.

The new Australian owner of Falcon pipes in the UK has recently brought in a much expanded range of those pipes to New Zealand via their New Zealand subsidiary here in Auckland.

After an absence of many years from the NZ marketplace (they used to be amongst our best sellers for the 20 years we had the physical shop) Falcon Coolway pipes (made in the UK from the best Mediterranean briar) are now available again in New Zealand. Staggeringly, the new distributor's Australian counterpart actually bought the company outright in the UK and all the accounting and stock functions for that manufacturer (Falcon) are now run from that distributor's office in Albany, Auckland.
